Trump Says US Attorney General Should Release Any 'Credible' Information on Epstein
Published: July 16, 2025 | By National Politics Desk

Former President Donald Trump stated on Tuesday that the U.S. Attorney General should release any "credible" and verifiable information related to the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein. The comment came during an interview where Trump responded to renewed public interest in Epstein’s connections and the broader implications for high-profile individuals.
"If there's real evidence—anything credible and clear—the American people deserve transparency," Trump said. "I don’t care who it involves, it should be made public, no exceptions."
Epstein, who was awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges in 2019, died in jail under suspicious circumstances, prompting widespread speculation and conspiracy theories. Despite multiple investigations, full details of Epstein's connections remain classified.
Trump, who had known Epstein socially in the early 2000s, has repeatedly denied any involvement in Epstein's crimes. His recent call for disclosure is being seen by analysts as an attempt to distance himself from ongoing rumors as the 2024 election cycle continues.
The Department of Justice has not yet responded to Trump's statement. However, calls for transparency regarding Epstein's alleged network continue to grow, with bipartisan support urging a complete and public review of related documents.
